Simply Squared Designs...the business side of "us"
Simply Squared Designs takes pride in being able to offer you one of a kind, unique pieces of art that will hold your precious memories. Each and every frame is handmade, by us, therefore there are no two frames that are exactly the same. We are constantly thinking of not only new, but original ideas for our frames. We have been building these frames since 2003. After 5 years, we finally decide to give ourselves a name! Simply Squared Designs came into existence in 2008.
Donnie, who is the "backbone" of this business really enjoys building and creating He attended the Rocky Mountain Painting School, where he learned a variety of faux finishing and painting techniques. We apply these techniques to each of our frames. We consider each piece we create to be a piece of art, not just a frame!
We love to hear our customers say, these are so unique! So, we continue on... We are so appreciative of our customers...from first time buyers to our loyal, repeat customers. You all are great!
Donnie and Misty... who we are as people...
We met in 2001 and were married in 2002. We have 2 sweet baby girls...well our oldest is 6, and our newest is 10 months but they are both our babies! We have 2 dogs that were rescued. We love the Lord, each other and our wonderful family and friends! That about sums it up...
Some things that we are passionate about...
Finding a CURE for Food Allergies...our oldest girl has suffered from food allergies since she was 3 months old. After several rounds of testing, we found out she was allergic to 6 of the 8 most common food allergies. So, I know you may be thinking, food allergies, no big deal...itchy skin, watery eyes kind of thing. Let me clarify...These are not those type of allergies, we are talking about "allergies" that can be life threatining even if exposed to a miniscual portion of the allergen itself. So, in other words, a possibly "fatal" allergy that has changed our day to day life. We, along with other parents of food allergic children can only pray that a cure is on the horizon. For the love of animals...
We have 2 dogs that were rescued and they are WONDERFUL! Yep, they are MUTTS and that is fine with us! Don't get me wrong, if there was a dog with "papers" that needed rescuing, we wouldn't be opposed to that either. We encourage everyone to help control the pet population by having your pets spayed or neutered.
